Welcome to Muddy Tracks! I started blogging in 2010, a few years after I made the move from South East England to Co Durham. I wrote about places I loved, but didn’t get to visit very often. Hadrians Wall country, Teesdale, Weardale. I now live in one of those places I loved to visit. Pretty amazing, but not very good for my writing motivation.
I still love writing, but I love photography even more. My 2016 New Year’s Resolution is therefore to focus Muddy Tracks on my photography. Expect more photos and fewer essays, but crucially, expect more frequent posts!
Still wishing I could spend more time outdoors…
